With the new vintages of Rubesco – Rosso di Torgiano DOC, based on Sangiovese and Colorino, and Torre di Giano – Bianco di Torgiano DOC, based on Vermentino, Trebbiano and Grechetto, we introduce the new lighter bottles which will lead to saving of CO2 emissions during bottle transportation by more than 35%. A choice already undertaken in the production of the other wines of the Lungarotti range which today is completed with the adoption of sustainable bottles also for the two historic wines of the company.

The introduction of the new lightweight bottles also coincides with the restyling of the Rubesco and Torre di Giano labels which will feature a larger, more enveloping size and elegant premium paper and, as always, the image of a detail of the harvest from the Fontana Maggiore in Perugia, highlighted by embossing.

With the introduction of lighter bottles, which go from 0.65 kg to 0.42 kg in weight, the commitment to adopting good practices in respect of the environment is confirmed.
