We look forward to welcoming you for guided winery tours and tastings by appointment, so you can discover our wines, olive oils and specialities.
The winery tour is an all-around experience that begins in the vineyards, continuing in the cellars where you can appreciate the vinification process using the most modern technology, the fascination of wooden casks and barriques, the villa.
Following the tour – which takes about 30 minutes – we can taste the wines together. The tasting is always accompanied by Umbrian bread and Lungarotti extra virgin olive oil.
The guided tours are for single guests or groups, experts or novices, winelovers or wine experts, students and families. The tasting room seats up to 60. Tours are held in Italian, English. Upon request, other languages are also available.

If you are participating in a wine tasting for the first time, may we suggest some handy tips:
-avoid consuming chewing gum or candies before or during the tasting
– avoid smoking before the tasting
-avoid using perfume or lipstick/lipgloss
-we do not serve alcohol to visitors under 18 years of age
Our animal friends cannot enter the winery but will be very welcome at our hospitality point
MENU for between 25 to 50 guests

Welcome aperitif (focaccia with ciccioli – aged pork fat; savoury strudel with vegetables)
Pasta course (strangozzi pasta with cherry tomatoes and wild thyme)
Entrée (Squab on a large crostino with olive oil and sautéed country greens)
Dessert (Rocciata – Umbrian dessert from Foligno with hand-rolled pastry and a filling of apples, anise, walnuts and raisins

As an alternative to the above menu we can offer the following variations for pasta dishes: strangozzi pasta with Spoleto-style sauce; rigatoni pasta with sausage in a creamy sauce; gnocchi with goose sauce; strangozzi pasta with wild asparagus. Variations for entrees: lamb-innard with rosemary, lamb cacciatora-style, Umbrian-style escargots, pork fillet with cured lard and aromatic herbs, stuffed rabbit, stewed wild boar with juniper berries.
*the price of €50 refers to a minimum of 25 participants. In the case of smaller groups the cost will increase by €5 per person.

Available from April to September (booking subject to weather conditions). For 2 to 20 participants.
It is also possible to add a hiking session accompanied by an expert guide to discover the beauty of the hillsides of Montefalco and its surrounding territory. Duration: approximately 60 minutes; difficulty level: suitable for children and adults.

BRUNCH AT THE WINERY
Tasting of two Lungarotti wines paired with traditional regional foods.
Platters with typical Umbrian prosciutto, ciauscolo (soft salame) savoury strudel, cured sausage, salame, pecorino cheese, jams, focaccia, cheese flat bread.
(minimum 20 participants)
All the proposals are by reservation and subject to availability, closing days or possible black-out dates due to private events and weddings.

-Handmade tagliatelle with ragù of various flavours (wild boar; artichokes with prosciutto; wild asparagus; St. George’s mushrooms)
-Potato gnocchi with farm-style ragù
-Rocciata, a typical Umbrian dessert from Foligno with hand-rolled pastry and a filling of apples, anise, walnuts and raisins
-Bread fritters (deep-fried yeast-raised dough, paired with cold-cuts)
Each cooking class will be paired with a full menu (antipasto, pasta dish, entrée with side dish and dessert) and matched with Lungarotti wines

In the case of groups less than 20 participants, cost per person will be increased by €20 per person.
