Rubesco Riserva Vigna Monticchio 2016 has been ranked best red wine in Italy – tied with Bolgheri Sassicaia 2017 – in the “100 best wines of Italy” list compiled annually by Gentleman magazine, part of the Milano Finanza Group, calculated using the total ratings of all the major Italian wine guides:

This wine will be released just after the summer; the 2015 vintage is currently available and is one of the best of the past 20 years, capable of combining power and elegance at the same time. This vintage of Rubesco Riserva achieved second place in the 2020 list by Gentleman.

(Evaluation of the Impact of Viticulture on the Environment) program. Devoted to sustainability, agronomist Attilio Persia works closely with enologist Vincenzo Pepe to respect the vine, biodiversity of the soil and of the vineyard environment at Lungarotti.
