Fresh and modern, floral, delicate and well balanced with hints of rose, wisteria and star anise as well as fruity notes (marasca cherry and raspberry) on the finish

Grape varietals

Sangiovese, harvested in September; 4000 vines/hectare; yield 11,000 kg/hectare

Vinification

Fermentation in stainless steel with brief maceration followed by removal of skins; must is fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature

Food pairings

tasty for happy hour, excellent with hors-d’oeuvres, charcuterie, soups, meat and vegetable casseroles, quiche, white meat, fresh- and salt-water fish, fried dishes, egg-based dishes
