An aged grappa with warm golden colour, clear and brilliant and with an intense, enveloping aroma. Soft on the palate, it is pleasantly round with a characteristic finish of nuts and chocolate.
Produced with still-dripping marc, it is obtained using the discontinuous method, eliminating the head and tail to keep only the best part. The grappa is aged in wood for 18 months, a fundamental passage that allows it to acquire roundness and elegance.
It should be enjoyed in tranquillity, to appreciate its aroma and flavour. Serve at 16-18°C (61-64°F) in tulip-shaped stem glass or brandy snifter.
A grappa with great elegance and power, like the varietal from which it is produced. It completes the Sagrantino line, with its wine and passito wine. On the label is a view of the Montefalco winery and in the foreground, a falcon, symbol of the area, where traditionally falcon hunting, the great passion of Emperor Frederick II of Swabia, was practiced.
