Torgiano, a small medieval town built on ancient roman ruins and immersed in the vineyards of the D.O.C. and D.O.C.G viticutural regions, lies in the center of Umbria, the "green heart of Italy". It is 8 km from Perugia, 16 km from Assisi, 180 km from Florence and 160 km from Rome.
Traveling south on the A1 from Florence the most convenient highway exit is that of Valdichiana, while traveling north on the A1 from Rome the recommended exit is Orte. Torgiano an then be reached via the E45 interstate.
